Meridian flat bottom silos
Flat bottom silos offer the simplest and most elegant solution for grain storage. In spite of being in contact with the ground, the bin is sealed from moisture and pests. However, to clear the grain completely (required when new or different grain is planned on being stored), either a silo sweep or a person with a shovel is required.
Meridian is unique among global grain storage companies in that the focus is on the small and mid-level segment rather than the large, which makes it ideal for India. Meridian’s offerings with corrugated bins or silos are extensive, ranging from 55 metric tons to 2,070. If spoilage of grain in the silo is prevented by following best practices, Meridian bins can last 30 years and are known to last up to 50 years in some farms in Canada.
The grains supported with the Meridian silos include cereals, oil seeds & pulses.
